sustainable coffee supply chain - educate2envision

As a coffee roaster and members of a coffee farming family in Comayagua, Honduras, We've seen and experienced firsthand the challenges that rural coffee communities face. These challenges are especially difficult for the children who grow up in these communities, live in poverty, and have limited access to education. That's why we’re proud to partner with Educate2Envision, a nonprofit organization working to start schools and fund education projects in rural coffee communities.

Our partnership with E2E started out of a desire to invest in the future of our local community in Los Planes in the highlands of Comayagua, Honduras and provide more options for children who were growing up where we had grown up but did not have any access to secondary or higher education.

We wanted to give back and make a lasting impact on the lives of the communities who grow coffee. We believe that education is the key to a sustainable future for these communities, and that's why we're supporting projects that help children stay in school, continue their education beyond primary school (all that is currently offered by the state), and learn the skills they need to succeed.

Through supporting our family coffees, you are helping to shape the future of Honduras and of coffee. We are providing children who would otherwise have to walk for hours to reach the nearest secondary school a local, safe, and secure environment to learn and grow. We're proud to be part of this project together with you, our customers, who are making a real difference in the lives of these children and their families for generations to come.

Our partnership with Educate2Envision is just one way we're working to support sustainable coffee farming and build stronger communities. We believe that by investing in education and empowering local communities, we can help create a more sustainable and equitable future for everyone.

As a coffee roaster and a member of a coffee farming family, we're proud to be part of this effort. We know firsthand how important education is for the future of coffee, and are excited to see the positive impact that these projects will have on the lives of children and their families.

We hope that this action will inspire coffee consumers, cafes, roasters, and other coffee companies to invest in education and support sustainable coffee farming. Together, we can plant the seeds for a brighter and more sustainable future.
